The Recruiting Intern will support the organization’s business objectives by sourcing, recruiting and interviewing medical professionals. The Recruiting Intern will attend daily training meetings and take on similar challenges as our full-time Associate Recruiters. Our interns will work alongside a skilled mentor who will provide expertise, knowledge and guidance on recruiting in the healthcare staffing industry. This is a paid, full-time summer internship that will help you gain real-world professional experience in an environment that promotes growth and learning. Responsibilities Attend Barton Associates intensive intern training program Call into the marketplace to identify providers interested in temporary healthcare opportunities Build and develop a database of providers Perform daily administrative tasks such as, completing daily call sheets, inputting provider information into the database and other tasks as assigned by the mentor Qualifications Must possess a strong work ethic! Must be a rising senior (planned graduation in Dec. 2015 or May 2016) Strong communication skills Strategic thinking & ability to execute results Must be comfortable cold-calling into the marketplace Ability to overcome objections Company Overview Barton Associates is a leading national recruiting and staffing firm that specializes in placing healthcare providers on temporary assignments across the United States.
